After installing Citrix Hotfix Rollup Pack PSE450W2K3R02, users receive the following error when starting Reflection: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc06d007e). Click on OK to terminate the application." This technical note explains how to resolve this issue.
Upgrade the Citrix Hotfix
Citrix has released a Hotfix that resolves this issue, Hotfix Rollup Pack PSE450R02W2K3007 - for Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and Citrix Access Essentials 2.0 for Windows Server 2003 (32-bit). The Hotfix can be obtained from the Citrix web site at http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX116967.
For Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 on Windows Server 2003 (64 bit), please obtain this hotfix: http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX116966.
After downloading and installing the Citrix Hotfix, Reflection should start up normally.
