This technical note provides information about running Reflection products on the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system and describes known issues when using Reflection products and components in this environment.
The Windows 2000 Logo program was discontinued prior to the release of Reflection version 11.0. However, tests show that Reflection versions 11.0 through 14.x continue to exhibit the same high level of quality on this operating system as the previous versions listed below.
The F-Secure SSH Windows Client and Server have been tested and run successfully under Windows 2000.
Note: The server versions of Reflection for Secure IT 6.x and F-Secure SSH 5.x require Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, or Windows NT Server.
The following Reflection products were developed to be supported under Microsoft Windows 2000. Each product passed a demanding series of tests to earn the "Certified for Windows 2000" logo from Microsoft.
The certified products above include the following components, which are also "Certified for Windows 2000:"
The following Reflection products were tested under Windows 2000, but were not submitted for Windows 2000 logo compliance:
Reflection NFS Client version 10.x utilizes the Microsoft Windows Installer and was tested under Windows 2000.
Reflection LPD/LPR version 10.x utilizes the Microsoft Windows Installer and was tested under Windows 2000.

If you are running Reflection for the Web on Windows 2000, verify that both your web browser and Java virtual machine (VM) are also compatible with Windows 2000.
