SCO-ANSI Terminal type missing from Designer StudioHost screen displays incorrectly in Designer StudioMissing Terminal typesHost screen displays correctly using EXTRA! X-treme 8 using SCO-ANSI terminal type
Cause
The Terminal types--SCO ANSI, ANSI-BBS and VT52--were removed from Designer Studio in Screen Connectors v2.2.
Fix
To enable the Terminal types SCO-ANSI, ANSI-BBS and VT52 in Designer Studio:
1. Apply the CTD 9 for Synapta Services Builder v3.0. (See CTD Readme.txt file for instructions on applying. Contact AttachmateWRQ Technical Support for information on how to get CTD 9.)
2. Edit the \EAI\ScreenConnectors\screen.properties file and add this line:
enable.all.vt.terminal.modes=true
This option is currently disabled by default.
3. In Designer Studio, load your project and select Host, Display Settings from the menu. All the Terminal types are now available--including SCO-ANSI, VT52 and ANSI-BBS. After selecting SCO-ANSI (or ANSI-BBS or VT52) as the Terminal type you will now be able to save your project and restart it and the selected Terminal type will stay enabled.
SCO-ANSI host screens displays correctly and the project can be saved and reopened and the SCO-ANSI terminal type is retained.
