ODBC Export

Goal

How to Select MAC address Information and Export to Database

Fix

Export the information using the NetWizard "Write to Database" function.
1) From the NetWizard Manager Console select tools - Write to Database.
Add a table name:MACAddr
Type:hardware
Nodes Reported: All
Include Branches Checked
Information reported: Selected
Information to Report: MACAddress

2) OK the dialog and select Create.
3) When prompted for DataSource choose Netwizard (default NetWizard txt driver, you can choose any ODBC compliant Datasource and manipulate the data in that application)
4) This will create a file on the Central Manager in the NetWizard root directory named "MACAddr" with no extension.  You can open this in Excel or Access as a "~" delimited spreadsheet or simply open it in notepad and search for the mac address that you want.  This will result in a flat table of the nodename and the macaddress.  You can add TCPIPAddress to the selected items if that will help you Identify the node easier.
