Symptoms

HOST ERROR: DATABridge call failed for initialize, error number = 1009

Frequent Error Text: (2) [1009] Data source NEXUSDEV not found

Cause

This error is typically seen when ther is more then one server running with the same port number. To troubleshoot, enter NW TCPIP CONN MYNAME <port#>.

Fix

Port numbers must be unique for each DB Server.
